Promise Run

Date: 9/6/20

Join us on our virtual Promise Run on 9/6/20. We have seen an enormous movement in the US and around the world in response to the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery. We have had the incredible momentum moving against police brutality and systemic racism throughout this summer. We want to help maintain that momentum and continue moving forward to a more equal future. One part of this is our Promise Run.
This run symbolizes our Promise to not stop pushing for equality whether that means attending protests, continuing to educate yourself on issues of race, supporting organizations that advocate for BIPOC, or another way that is meaningful for you.

The Promise Run is a charity run to remember the lives of Ahmaud, Breonna, and George as well as a fundraiser working to forge forward to try and make a lasting change. We look forward to seeing you ~virtually~ out on the pavement.

Fundraising pledge:
We are asking for runners to pledge to raise money for this race. We have no minimum but ask that runners pledge what they think is reasonable for them. We hope that runners will ask friends, family, colleagues and peers to help reach their pledge amount and let them know WHY you are running and the promise you’re making.
