Erica Lee

Erica is a second year medical student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She graduated from the University of Maryland – College Park in the Integrated Life Sciences Honors College with a major in biology and a minor in business. She has performed research in a neuromechanics laboratory studying ankle replacements during undergrad and worked as a medical scribe at a pediatrics office during her gap year. Since starting medical school, she has conducted research in an ophthalmology lab and serves as the president of the Ophthalmology Interest Group and clinical coordinator of SightSavers, a volunteer organization that provides free vision screenings in Baltimore. She grew up playing soccer and being on the swim team and looks forward to being able to combine her passions for medicine and fitness with Medicine in Motion!
