Join Together We Stand and Ponysaurus Brewing Durham for the 5th Annual Stand Up- Maud 2.23 event on Sunday February 23, 2025 beginning at 11am. The event will be held at the Durham location of Ponysaurus Brewing (219 Hood Street). The event commemorates the death of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery on 2/23/20 and focuses on unity against all racial and gender discrimination and violence. Ponysaurus Brewing hosted the first Together We Stand rally back in June 2020. 2025 Stand Up-Maud 2.23 shirts will be available for sale with this year’s quote “It is in your hands to make a better world for all who live in it.”-Nelson Mandela. The event is FREE with an optional 2.23-mile walk/run (also free) beginning at 11:30am. SIgn up here:
